    Duncroft, a blend of the Dunwich Horror and Lovecraft?

    Nitrate deposits on the wall, a nod to Poe's tale Cask of Amontillado.

    the eyes of the female character were a mix of horror bordering on insanity, a rare feat to pull off.

  2. Grandenetti is now a favorite artist of mine, He was overshadowed by others in the early Warren mags but he was unique. Great script by Archie Goodwin a fantastic writer and editor.

  3. I love how Langley accidentally fell down the stairs and unknowingly killed himself. It just makes this tale hilarious to me once he realizes this.
