It seemed like every artist upped their game when working with Archie Goodwin. Warren paid relatively low rates but everyone wanted to draw a story for Goodwin.

ReplyDeleteEvery time I see that opening panel, I can feel the chill of the weather and the sense of something following. It is one of my favorite pieces of comic art!
