Jess Jodloman's art for "Come Share My Coffin" is also excellent. Those faces! Every page, those faces!!
I had this one back in the Good Ol' Days and enjoyed it without emotion...and yet I damn near burst into tears reading the last two pages of "His Master's Voice" just now. Getting sentimental in my old age, I suppose. Thanks for posting!
I really did enjoy this book as well but at the time it was published I wasnt rally into the style of the Filipino artists. I wanted Wrightson, Kaluta, Toth etc. to be in every issue.....I appreciate the talent a lot more now.
These were all great but Nino really shines in the last tale.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the horror post.
He did a great job on this tale for sure. The Alcala art was pretty good too....
