  1. This is actually issue #85--not 65.
Amusingly, they actually got the order of the stories wrong in the introduction as The 9th life is actually the first story while "Gypsy's Revenge!" is the second one.

The first story is my favorite of the three although I do love how in the third one, the host actually plays a heavy role in this one in order to save the guests.

  2. They did the intro page in the Charlton horror books for a while. I think the old Harvey Horror books did a page as well.

The first and last story are pretty classic Ditko and both written by Joe Gill.

  4. I remember reading Hide and EEEEEK in a reprint, it was neat to see the narrator get involved in the story.
Felica in The 9th Life could have given Winnie a run for her money in the sexy goth department. Ditko could turn out cheesecake when he felt like it.

I noticed in the fan mail section one fan thought Winnie's name was Wanda. Either way, the fan wasn't the only one who had an eye for Winnie's/Wanda's legs, I suspect quite a few Charlton fans had the same appreciation for her.

  5. Wanda The witch sounds pretty good too but she's no Winnie!
