An eerie story but I gotta ask, what kid plays funeral? cops and robbers yes, tag or hide and seek, maybe pretend to be Dracula rising form the coffin, but funeral?
ReplyDeleteOnly in the world of Creepy Magazine would this be a normal game. Maybe if they played vampire it would be believable, I guess sometimes Creepy and Eerie could get away with almost anything.
Tom Sutton wrote some strange tales and this was a weird one....and you have a point.

This story really freaked me out as a kid. I'd read it, put it down, and then come back later to reread it. Genius!
