Ah, another cherished memory! I always did love those "happy ending horror stories" like Blind Child's Bluff, and The Price is surprisingly bittersweet. The last story is by-the-numbers predictable, but the artwork in all three stories is an absolute gas, even if the coloring--again, in that final tale--can be a bit off-putting. A pale-yellow vampire in a magenta cape? Good lord! Choke!

ReplyDeleteI did enjoy that last story it was silly but fun. Ernie Chua (Chan) before he went to Marvel and inked John Buscema on countless Conan stories.
