Back
in the 1980’s cartoonist Michael Gilbert put together one of the
more interesting comics of that era. Gilbert was a student and lover
of all sorts of eclectic comic books. But when he stumbled upon an
obscure Canadian title called SUPER DUPER COMICS, he fell in love
with it’s star feature, Mr. Monster. Doc Sterne would don his
colorful costume and pack his pistol to battle villains of the
supernatural kind. Gilbert revived the hero in his tongue-in-cheek
series MR. MONSTER. Here’s the cover to issue 2 by the late, great
Dave Stevens.
Today
I’m giving you a dose of the original in “The Terror Of Trezma”
from SUPER DUPER COMICS #3.
