Eyes Of The Cat

From House Of Mystery #189
Here's Some Feline Horror
With "Eyes Of The Cat".
Art By Wally Wood
And Jerry Grandenetti.

  1. The ending on this one is unintentionally hilarious--it reminds me of that Geico commercial where the guy falls in quicksand and calls for his cat to go get help. That goes about as well as you'd expect it to.

Also, Nicholas Towers is a downright jerk.

  2. Yeah and why did sweet little Cynthia name her cat Lucifer?

  3. That's a very good question. Technically, the cat never did anything supernatural. He just knew Nicholas was a bad person, and he always watched over Cynthia. Technically, Nicholas did himself in.
