Castle Carrion

Reed Crandall Was One Of The
Finest Artists In Comic Book
History And Here's A Great
Example Of His Amazing
Draftsmanship In 'Castle Carrion'
From The 1971 Creepy Annual.

  1. A sad ending for Eric and Elaine, the ending reminded me of the ending in the movie 'The Terror'.

  2. "The Terror' was a Roger Corman classic with Boris Karloff and Jack Nicholson! I remember seeing that on TV all the time back in the 60's and 70's on the Creature Feature!

  3. Had he been able to handle the deadlines Crandall would have been the ideal replacement for Hal Foster on Prince Valiant.

    1. He would have done a great Prince Valiant but if you remember Crandall left the art world in 1973 due to debilitating health issues and Hal Foster retired from the strip in 1971.
