EC Comics could be pretty grim in the gore department, at least with this tale the fate is left to the reader to decide. Not seeing the horror can be more terrible than the 'in your face' gore so many modern horror films and comics go for.
ReplyDeleteWell that's why EC got in trouble but a lot of companies in the 50's were pushing the horror/gore envelope.
