Ah, the sevenities... von Daniken combined with Scientology... or perhaps Mormonism, considering where Boyette was from. Kirby, of course, riffed off the former with THE ETERNALS and Japan's Nagai Go would go absolutely hogwild with stuff like this in DEVILMAN.
ReplyDeleteA lot of artists did some very good work for Charlton, but I think you can see the difference that what I imagine was a little more money could make. This is stunning work by Boyette.
