ReplyDeleteThis Charlton comic shows the different styles of each artist, and as I understand it, each artist was allowed to do pretty much whatever they wanted with minimum of restrictions from the editors.
Low pay but high creativity, I think many artists appreciated the latter.
And we appreciated the great comics!
