It seems Charlton made its own version of a ghost gal who returns to life in 'The Wildest Rose', using Winnie as the narrator is always a win as far as I am concerned.
I kind of like the design of the host from the second story, Mr. Dee Munn. Apparently all the stories in this issue are reprints from other series-hence the different hosts in each tale.

ReplyDeleteA fun story once again from Charlton. The Art by Charles Nicholas and Vince Alascia was very nice as was the script by Joe Gill..

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of Winnie The Witch. I wish they had given her an origin story. At least I don't think there is one...
ReplyDeleteCharlton closed shop in 1986 so yes at this time (1984) they were only publishing reprint books I believe.
Charlton Comics closed thirty years ago, gone but not forgotten. Many of their horror stories still hold up pretty well all these decades later.
