Unlike many people, even as a little kid I liked the work of Frank Robbins, and I still do. It's always good to see his stuff, though admittedly even better with a sympathetic inker, which was not always the case.
When I first saw Robbins art I did not like it but when I saw his Johnny Hazard strips I got his style. Definitely an acquired taste. I do enjoy his work a lot now.

ReplyDeleteThis one is a heck of a lot of fun. Both Dracula and Lou Garver get the vengeance they wanted--although of course Dracula is still out there.
