Great ghastly tales from Eerie. The tale 'Hex Marks the Spot' twists the concept of hex signs around. Some of the earliest hex signs were copied from images found in early churches, the image being a twelve petal flower type design. The hex signs were fanciful display for barns and houses, with no association with evil powers.
