A lot of good stories in this reprint issue starting off with a great one by Ditko, but, gah!, when did Ted Turner work for Charlton? They were saving money using these old stories, so why pay someone to color the notably uncolored Sutton story? They're not bad colors, but what's the point? It would be like reformatting those sideways ones Boyette did. Or reprinting Kim's 'The Promise' without the Korean. Just choose another story to reprint, you know?
ReplyDeleteI forgot about Ted Turner colorizing old movies,,,I don't know if they do that anymore. There is a guy on youtube who colorizes old music clips and while not great it is interesting. I do agree it was pointless to add color to the Sutton tale but some editor probably just had them do it...
