As I've noted before Russ Heath is that rare artists whose style was completely formed right out of the gate. He certainly refined certain aspects but late Russ Heath doesn't look that much different from early RH. A great artist whom I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. It seems that later on he used a bit of photo reference on his jobs which added more realism to his art.
