I liked all these stories, Secret of the Pet shop was may favorite of them all. I had expected the old man to turn the hoodlums into pets, but the twist ending was unexpected and a pleasant surprise.

This was an excellent issue of Astonishing. Mort Drucker later went on to do classic movie parodies for Mad magazine.

Reminds me of an old Science Fiction theater kind of story.
