I remember most of these stories, reading them for the first time was like watching the old horror movies on UHF, the stories were not over the top frightening, but scary enough for young readers to enjoy. Who doesn't like a good ghost story or horror story now and then?

Oh yeah I remember those old UHF stations back in the day. Those old Friday night Creature Features were awesome. Movies like Black Sabbath or the Hammer Horror movies were so cool. Nothing like that today.
ReplyDeleteThese old books are like a blast from the past and they were available everywhere. Drugstores, Convenient stores and even Department stores carried them. And they were inexpensive entertainment not an expensive hobby like it is now!
