Sutton was like a breath of fresh air during a period when Warren was desperate for new artists. At the time I didn't care much for Grandeetti's art but it has absolutely grown on me. His war stories for DC are top notch.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy Jerry Grandenetti's art now. It was so different back then that it was hard to enjoy. Same with Frank Robbins. Both are comic book masters.
