Toth at his best. Look at the bottom panel of page 3, a lesson in minimalism. Many of today's artists, who insist on drawing every hair on Wolverine's chest, could learn so much from Toth.
ReplyDeleteToth combined naturalism and intellect flawlessly in his artwork. We were spoiled by all the great artists working in comics back in the day. No one today comes close. Not to say there aren't any good artists today.
