    Thanks a bunch. The short tale in this one with the plane was originally in AITU under the title "A Higher Power."
    The first story is awesome and so is the last one. The one with the drunken hobo named Stubby is kind of sad though--Stubby reminds me kind of of Otis Campbell from the Andy Griffith show.

    Glad you enjoyed the tales. I originally had posted another ACG book only to find out it was a repeat post.

    I think that short tale was by Ogden Whitney.
