The story's pretty basic--there's no real character development to speak of--but it's well-told with strong art on what is generally considered the more realistic end of the comic book art spectrum. I tend to prefer the more idiosyncratic stylists myself, but that being stated there's no need for that being an either/or proposition and I can appreciate art in different styles.
Yeah me too these days I appreciate most classic comic art styles whether realistic or idiosyncratic because it just so much fun to read these tales; I don't enjoy todays books much so all these odd gems are like a treat to me. Maybe it's nostalgia too..
