The story "The Wheel of Light" was published as 'The Great Wheel of Light', first in a newspaper article "Adventure Today" and later in a book titled "Strangely Enough" both written by C B Colby. Later it would appear in a revised book titled "Worlds Best 'True' Ghost Stories" again by C B Colby.
The tales from Strangely Enough dealt with history, unusual events and unexplained phenomena, so including "The Wheel of Light" in The Twilight Zone comic was a good fit.
C B Colby only reported the incident, he couldn't take credit for it since he was just the reporter, not the author.
