Well, the washerwoman is an unfortunate assault on modern sensibilities. And the transition between the, uh, 'magic midgets' knocking the henchman off the cliff then guarding a sleeping Felix (followed by the henchman unceremoniously back at the top) was kind of clumsy. By the way, was winning the beauty pageant suppose to indicate Blue Betty had affected her escape from her step-mother?
Sounds like I didn't like it, huh? And yet I DID like it. It was super cute and actually on the whole masterfully done. It had a rolley-polley plot like little kids playing make-believe, but that's charming to me.
Nice change with some lighter fare!
ReplyDeleteThanks glad you liked it
ReplyDeleteTen cents for 48 pages and the inside covers, talk about a bargain beck then.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the hard work you do in posting, especially all the pages of this one comic!
Yeah I know that's when 10 cents got you lots of great entertainment and probably some food too.

Not perfect, then, but enjoyable for all that.
Yeah I thought it was a neat tale too. I did not know Otto Mesmer drew it until I checked the GCD.
