Wow... even if John Goldwater had influence inside the Comics Code Authority... and even if it was a bird, it was a sentient bird and that ending is DARK... and I'm surprised it got past the Code. Were feelings about rock & roll that negative that someone thought that it was the bird and the assistant that should pay for their association with it and the company head was therefore justified in his actions? Wacko.
